Volunteer Opportunities
Philadelphia Women’s Pro Soccer is looking for people who are leaders in their business and soccer communities…..people who believe in professional women’s soccer and want to see the new league and its teams succeed. As you know the ultimate success of WPS and our team in Philly will not only depend on the quality of play on the field, but also on our ability to reach out and build a strong fan base.
As a Volunteer you will act as a liaison between WPS and your community.
- Be the first to learn the latest team news so that you can help spread the word in our Delaware Valley community
- Participate in councils and committees to provide feedback and ideas on how to improve our team and the WPS
- Serve as an event/game day volunteer to logistically support operations at official events, including community player appearances, exhibition games, or league matches
Encourage those in your community to attend games and get involved.
- Get people excited about professional women’s soccer and recruit fans to games
- Organize viewing parties and group outings
- Support the team and WPS through networking and information sharing in your soccer, personal, and business circles
- Work with corporations and other organizations to purchase season tickets for employees and/or coordinate group outings
- Recruit fellow ambassadors to the game and volunteers

We will have lots of community events, team activities, and volunteer opportunities over the next several months and in to the 2010 season.
