110209-player-holiday-2
Early holiday gifts are being delivered to the Philadelphia Independence fans. The collection of these gifts began with the WPS Expansion Draft in September, and continued through the WPS International Draft, subsequent player trades, and free agency acquisitions. The result: An Independence roster packed with some of the best female soccer players in the world.

The scouting, player selections, and trade work of GM Terry Foley and Head Coach Paul Riley will field a team and provide a fan experience that fits the rich soccer and pro sports traditions of Philadelphia.
