We woke up this morning at 8:15 AM, so we could get ourselves ready for our training session which started at 9:30 AM. We had some breakfast, got in the vans, and headed to the field. We started the session off with a warm up with Independence strength and conditioning guru Staci Wilson and then headed over to Independence Head Coach Matt Driver and Assistant Coach Wayne Grocott for a functional session. It was not as easy as it sounds, but it was very helpful. It allowed the forwards, defenders, and midfielders to get a chance to work together. We were split into two teams and ended the session with a ten minute game.

We then did some static stretching and headed over to the cafeteria for some lunch. Chestnut Hill is not only a beautiful college, but the people who work here have been so helpful and thoughtful towards us. Always lending a helping hand, and all around nice people. We have been very lucky to be able to stay in the environment like the one Chestnut Hill College has provided for us. Tonight we play an inter-squad scrimmage on the grass fields at Chestnut Hill. Should be a very fun game.
