Independence Participate in the 11th Annual Cherry Hills FC Girls Tournament

On Saturday, June 6th, the Philadelphia Independence visited the 11th Annual Cherry Hill FC Girl’s Soccer Tournament. With over 70 girl’s teams ranging from U9 through U18, the Independence enjoyed interacting with local players, giving out Independence goodies, and watching top level soccer games throughout the day. Philadelphia Independence Head Coach Matt Driver made a special visit to the tournament as well. “Cherry Hill FC is one of the top clubs in Southern New Jersey and they put on one of the best tournaments in the area during the Summer,” said Coach Driver. “Having the opportunity to come out on such a beautiful day to watch some local talent is a great way to spend a Saturday,” said Coach Driver with a smile.
